PhillyVeterans.org was created to provide veterans and active military in the Greater Philadelphia area with a comprehensive database of resources for themselves and their families.  Penn Veterans Upward Bound and Wharton Square One Management Team saw the need to gather these resources and put them into one easy-to-navigate website.

In 2012, Penn Veterans Upward Bound gifted the website to Global Citizen for maintenance.  Global Citizen updates the site quarterly with new resources and maintains the upkeep of additional site needs.  The American Red Cross of Southeastern Pennsylvania shares vetted resources with Global Citizen and disseminates website information to veterans in their network.

After much success and growth, the site was moved to phillyveterans.wordpress.com.

Veteran-serving agencies in Greater Philadelphia are encouraged to share this website with veterans & their families who need to access free & paid services available to them.

Vetted resources are indicated by the American Red Cross Logo.
